加密的地基GPS全球定位系統(tǒng)網(wǎng)具備監(jiān)測中小尺度天氣水汽變化的功能.利用對流層延遲與水汽之間的關系,可以建立地基GPS水汽反演方法以獲取大氣可降水汽總量PWV和斜路徑水汽含量SWV,并通過層析算法得到三維水汽分布.PWV的時間變率、PWV水平梯度變率和區(qū)域PWV水汽輻合輻散量定量反映了水汽輸送以及區(qū)域水汽增減,PWV時間序列的初始峰值在暴雨臨近預報中有重要的指示意義,地基GPS網(wǎng)的PWV可以作為數(shù)值天氣預報模式的重要資料.不同指向的SWV可以表征測站周圍水汽的非均勻性質(zhì),SWV和三維水汽層析可有效用于中小尺度天氣的濕度分析和降水的定量預測.結合掩星GPS和其他探測信息,GPS/MET可以在暴雨監(jiān)測預報中發(fā)揮更重要的作用.

Abstract:

The surface-based Globe Position System (GPS) high resolution network can monitor the atmospheric water vapor for the meso-scale weather system. By using the relationship between troposphere delay and water vapor, the GPS water vapor retrieval method can be built to get precipitation water vapor (PWV) and slant-path water vapor (SWV). The PWV time variation, PWV horizontal grads variation and its convergence or divergence area indicate the transfer of water vapor and its local change. The early peak of PWV time serial is useful for the rainstorm nowcasting. SWV shows the different features of water vapor in the different direction of receivers stations. SWV and 3 Dimension water vapor got by tomography technique can be used to analyze the spatial humidity variation and precipitation estimation in detail. As the initial field observations, PWV measured by GPS network is the effective data for the numerical weather forecast model. Combined with the GPS obscuration observations and the other monitoring data, GPS/MET will have a good performance in using the rainstorm forecast and nowcasting in the future.
