摘要:

蛙跳（leapfrog）時(shí)間差分格式采用Asselin-Robert時(shí)間濾波方案去除計(jì)算解能夠降低原始方程組的時(shí)間差分格式的計(jì)算精度，采用二階Adams-Bashforth格式構(gòu)造的歐拉前差方案可彌補(bǔ)蛙跳格式的不足，即：在不存在計(jì)算解的條件下去除濾波的影響，更大程度的保持方程組的計(jì)算準(zhǔn)確性。本文基于NCAR CAM3.0 (Community Atmosphere Model 3.0)完善的軟件平臺(tái)，將原模式的三時(shí)間層蛙跳時(shí)間差分方案修改為兩時(shí)間層二階Adams-Bashforth時(shí)間差分格式，對(duì)與重力波有關(guān)項(xiàng)使用中央差隱式處理，以此構(gòu)建半隱式大氣環(huán)流譜模式。利用動(dòng)力檢驗(yàn)的方法探討模式對(duì)垂直分辨率的敏感性，從而尋找模式在較小計(jì)算代價(jià)下提高計(jì)算效果的可能。通過(guò)斜壓波實(shí)驗(yàn)發(fā)現(xiàn)，提高垂直分辨率使模式具有更強(qiáng)的斜壓波模擬能力，其模擬效果甚至已經(jīng)與提高水平分辨率的效果相當(dāng)，可以作為一種彌補(bǔ)模式運(yùn)算效率不足的可行方案。

Abstract:

Asselin-Robert time filter used in leapfrog time differencing scheme for deleting computing solution can degrade the accuracy of the calculations. The second-order Adams-Bashforth method is not subject to time splitting and has the same accuracy as leapfrog scheme. A new Eular-forward semi-implicit atmospheric general circulation model with the spectral method is developed from NCAR CAM3.0 (Community Atmosphere Model 3.0). The second-order Adams-Bashforth method is used as the alternative method of leapfrog scheme and Crank-Nicholson scheme for implicit. By an idealized dynamical baroclinic wave test， we analysis the sensitivity of vertical resolutions for the new dynamical core，moreover, by the test, we try to find out a feasible way to get better simulation results with lower simulation cost. It shows that the new dynamic core with higher vertical resolution has better simulation ability for baroclinic wave development. The results of higher vertical resolution are even as good as the results of higher horizontal resolutions. So we consider that it can be a feasible way to make up the lack of simulation efficiency by increasing vertical resolution of numerical weather prediction model.
