將國(guó)內(nèi)新一代多普勒雷達(dá)基數(shù)據(jù)Lev-Ⅱ的9個(gè)仰角的原始反射率和徑向風(fēng)資料應(yīng)用于中尺度模式ARPS（the Advanced Regional Prediction System），通過(guò)對(duì)2007年7月18日濟(jì)南短時(shí)特大暴雨過(guò)程的個(gè)例研究，分析了雷達(dá)資料對(duì)初始場(chǎng)的改進(jìn)效果及其對(duì)模擬結(jié)果的影響。結(jié)果表明，同時(shí)利用雷達(dá)反射率和徑向風(fēng)資料改進(jìn)過(guò)的初始場(chǎng)能明顯改善中尺度數(shù)值模式短時(shí)定量降水預(yù)報(bào)。對(duì)比風(fēng)場(chǎng)發(fā)現(xiàn)，雷達(dá)徑向風(fēng)調(diào)整后在初始場(chǎng)中出現(xiàn)明顯的中小尺度特征，能減少模式的spin-up時(shí)間。隨著積分的進(jìn)行，對(duì)水汽場(chǎng)的調(diào)節(jié)也有一定作用，但相對(duì)于風(fēng)場(chǎng)調(diào)節(jié)不夠顯著。雷達(dá)反射率主要是改進(jìn)初始場(chǎng)中的濕度參數(shù)，增加初始場(chǎng)中云水等含量。積分開(kāi)始后，對(duì)風(fēng)場(chǎng)調(diào)整也很顯著。此次模擬，控制試驗(yàn)較好地預(yù)報(bào)出雷達(dá)回波的分布和水汽中心，對(duì)應(yīng)的降水落區(qū)與實(shí)況也較為接近，但對(duì)雷達(dá)回波中心強(qiáng)度的預(yù)報(bào)略大，相應(yīng)地降水量的預(yù)報(bào)也偏大。

Abstract:

In order to test the effect of the Doppler radar data on the mesoscale model forecasting， a heavy rain event occurred on 18 July 2007 has been studied by applying the new generation Doppler raw radar data in China which contains 9 levels reflectivity and radial velocities in the ARPS (the Advanced Regional Prediction System) model. The results show that the initialization of both radar reflectivity and radial wind may significantly improve short-term quantitative precipitation forecasting by using mesoscale model. It was found that the radar radial wind adjustment may cause the small- and medium scale characteristics in the initial field and reduce the model spin-up time. As integral goes on, vapor adjustment has also an influence on the precipitation forecasting， but less significantly compared with the wind adjustment. Radar reflectivity mainly improves the humidity parameter and increases the cloud water content in the initial field. As integral begins it leads to a considerable wind adjustment. In this study， the distribution of radar echoes and water vapor centers have been predicted noticeably in the control run. The distribution of the forecasted precipitation is similar to that of the observations，but predicted radar echo intensity and correspondingly precipitation in the mesoscale model seemed to be larger.
