用中國(guó)氣象局整編的氣溫資料以及NCEP／NCAR再分析資料和OLR資料,分析了長(zhǎng)江中下游地區(qū)夏季氣溫變化型與西太平洋副熱帶高壓(簡(jiǎn)稱西太副高)的年際變動(dòng)的聯(lián)系。研究表明,長(zhǎng)江中下游地區(qū)夏季氣溫異?？煞譃槿珔^(qū)一致、南北反相、東西反相三種分布型。在年際時(shí)間尺度上,此三型的形成與東亞-西太平洋地區(qū)環(huán)流異常三種不同的分布密切相關(guān)。根據(jù)異常環(huán)流的這三種不同的分布型,分別定義了相應(yīng)的東亞-西太平洋環(huán)流異常指數(shù)I(xiàn)EAWPi。分析表明,I(xiàn)EAWPi分別與三型氣溫指數(shù)有很好的相關(guān)關(guān)系,I(xiàn)EAWPi可在一定程度上反映與長(zhǎng)江中下游夏季氣溫變化型相聯(lián)系的副高活動(dòng)異常。I(xiàn)EAWPi對(duì)應(yīng)的高、低值年的高度距平場(chǎng)在長(zhǎng)江中下游地區(qū)上空均呈相當(dāng)正壓結(jié)構(gòu)。在500 hPa高度上,三型高度場(chǎng)異常的維持均與源自熱帶洋面上空的波列有關(guān),而第三型高度場(chǎng)異常還與沿西風(fēng)急流傳播的波列有關(guān)。I(xiàn)EAWPi可為診斷和預(yù)測(cè)長(zhǎng)江流域氣溫異常提供線索。

Abstract:

Using the daily data of temperature from China Meteorological Administration and the NCEP／NCAR reanalysis as well as the OLR data, we have analyzed the influences of West Pacific subtropical high(WPSH) on the three principal patterns of summertime temperature anomalies in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River on inter-annual timescale. Three indices (I(xiàn)EAWPi) of anomalous circulations have been defined on the basis of circulation anomalies related to the three principal patterns of summertime temperature anomalies. East Asia-West Pacific indices are well correlated with the temperature indices. The indices of anomalous circulations are found to be able to describe variations of WPSH that affect the patterns of summertime temperature anomalies. The anomalous circulation structure in vertical direction in both the high and lower value years identified by East Asia-West Pacific indices (I(xiàn)EAWPi) are equivalent-barotropic in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The maintenance of the three patterns of anomalous circulations in association with the three principal patterns of air temperature anomalies are related to the wave train originating from tropical regions. The indices (I(xiàn)EAWPi) as defined in the present paper could be useful for us to forecast and diagnose the temperature anomalies in regions of the Yangtze River valley.
