通過(guò)運(yùn)用NCEP／NCAR逐月的再分析資料,1975—2005年的高原東部夏季凝結(jié)潛熱資料,西北太平熱帶氣旋資料,初步研究了氣候背景下高原夏季凝結(jié)潛熱對(duì)西北太平洋區(qū)熱帶氣旋(以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)TC)活動(dòng)的影響,發(fā)現(xiàn)夏季(7—9月)凝結(jié)潛熱強(qiáng)度與TC生成頻數(shù)相關(guān)系數(shù)達(dá)到-045,通過(guò)001信度的顯著性檢驗(yàn)。還進(jìn)一步分析了與TC生成有密切關(guān)系的環(huán)境場(chǎng)條件,研究發(fā)現(xiàn)凝結(jié)潛熱弱年西北太平上空的上升氣流強(qiáng),對(duì)流層高層散度場(chǎng)有正異常,中低層有深厚的潮濕層,這些因素都有利于TC生成,在凝結(jié)潛熱強(qiáng)年這些條件卻恰恰相反,不利于TC生成。并初步分析了凝結(jié)潛熱影響熱帶氣旋頻數(shù)的機(jī)理,凝結(jié)潛熱的強(qiáng)弱可能是通過(guò)改變南亞高壓影響著熱帶氣旋生成的環(huán)境場(chǎng)條件。

Abstract:

By using the data of NCEP／NCAR monthly mean reanalysis and latent heat in summer over the east part of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from 1975 to 2005 as well as Northwest Pacific tropical cyclone(TC)data,study in the climatic background about the effect of latent heat on TC activity has been carried out. Analysis showed that correlation coefficient between summer latent heat and frequency of TC amounted to -045 at more than 001 significance level. Through further analysis of environmental conditions which is closely related to TC generation, It was found that the following factors will result in increased frequency of TC generation during the years of low latent heat: a strong updraft, a positive divergence anomalies in the upper troposphere and a deep moist layer in the lower troposphere. These conditions are opposite in years of high latent heat, which is not conducive to TC generation. The mechanism of latent heat effect on TC activity lies in that latent heat lead to changes in environmental field which affects tropical cyclone through the south Asia high.
