將可變網(wǎng)格大氣環(huán)流模式LMDZ的模擬中心移動(dòng)至中國(guó)地理中心附近(37 °N,112.5 °E),在東亞地區(qū)進(jìn)行加密,使用其對(duì)應(yīng)全球模式同步輸出資料進(jìn)行環(huán)流強(qiáng)迫,以觀測(cè)海表溫度SST和海冰SIC資料對(duì)下邊界強(qiáng)迫,對(duì)1979—2008年各年5—9月對(duì)500 hPa高度場(chǎng),850 hPa溫度場(chǎng)和地面要素等進(jìn)行了模擬,并利用同期的NCEP/NCAR再分析資料和由中國(guó)氣象臺(tái)站資料生成的格點(diǎn)資料,評(píng)估該模式對(duì)東亞地區(qū)高空環(huán)流場(chǎng)、西太平洋副熱帶高壓及地面溫度、降水等的夏季氣候平均態(tài)的模擬能力。結(jié)果表明:LMDZ可以較好的模擬平均環(huán)流場(chǎng),其模擬結(jié)果能夠反映實(shí)際的500 hPa高度場(chǎng)和850 hPa溫度場(chǎng)的分布特征和趨勢(shì),但總體模擬值較觀測(cè)值偏低;對(duì)副高強(qiáng)度的模擬能力偏弱、模擬的副高位置偏東,但準(zhǔn)確的表現(xiàn)了副高隨時(shí)間變化的移動(dòng)特性;模式較好的再現(xiàn)了中國(guó)區(qū)域夏季地面氣溫和降水的空間分布特征;但從數(shù)值吻合度看,溫度模擬主要呈區(qū)域性偏冷距平,在東南沿海地區(qū)偏低1~3 ℃,在西部青藏高原地區(qū)偏低3~4 ℃及以上,中部和東北大部基本無(wú)偏差;降水的模擬在中國(guó)西北地區(qū)與實(shí)際觀測(cè)較為一致,其誤差主要表現(xiàn)為在中國(guó)東南部沿海模擬的降水偏多;對(duì)7個(gè)子區(qū)域,模式對(duì)850 hPa溫度場(chǎng)和地面日均氣溫的再現(xiàn)能力優(yōu)于對(duì)500 hPa高度場(chǎng)的模擬,且子區(qū)域間模擬偏差結(jié)果相差大,其中華北區(qū)地面氣溫模擬偏差最小,西北區(qū)降水值模擬偏差最小。

Abstract:

A variable resolution regional climate model LMDZ is used to simulate May-September climate during 1979—2008. The model was forced by the outputs of LMDZ-Global, observed sea ice and sea surface temperature data and its center of zoom was modified and set at 37 °N,112.5 °E. Based on the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data and gridded observation data in Chinese region promoted from original meteorological stations' data in China, the LMDZ regional climate model was evaluated in tems of its summer mean climate over east Asia. Results show that: the distribution characters of 500 hPa geopotential height and 850 hPa temperature are well simulated, however the values are a little lower than the actual; the simulated subtropical high intensity is weaker and its position tends to east. It can reproduce well the atmospheric circulation over east Asia. The main distribution of simulated surface air temperature and precipitation over China are basically reasonable. The simulated biases of surface air temperature show that it is equal with the actual in the central and north-east China, whereas colder than the observations by 1~3 ℃ in southeast coastal region and 3~4 ℃ or more in western China. The simulated and observed precipitation are consistent in most areas in northwest China, and its bias of larger rainfall is found mainly in simulated China's southeastern coastal area. Concerning the 7 sub-regions, the model reproductions of the 850 hPa temperature and surface air temperature are better than the simulation of 500 hPa geopotential height and precipitation. The biases between simulation and observation differ in each subarea. North and northwest China have the minimum deviation of surface air temperature and precipitation respectively.
