運(yùn)用NCEP/NCAR再分析資料和中國(guó)氣候中心整編的160站月平均降水資料應(yīng)用經(jīng)驗(yàn)正交函數(shù)、線性相關(guān)分析等,分析了江淮地區(qū)夏季降水異常特征及其與西印度洋區(qū)域大氣環(huán)流年際異常關(guān)系的變化及其可能的機(jī)理。結(jié)果表明:當(dāng)500 hPa中緯度低槽活動(dòng)偏多(少),西太平洋副熱帶高壓偏強(qiáng)(弱),東亞夏季風(fēng)偏強(qiáng)(弱)時(shí),江淮地區(qū)降水偏多(少)。進(jìn)一步分析還發(fā)現(xiàn)西印度洋上空的垂直環(huán)流與江淮夏季降水存在較好的關(guān)系,但這種年際異常之間的聯(lián)系受到背景場(chǎng)的影響明顯:1979—1993年西印度洋垂直上升運(yùn)動(dòng)與江淮夏季降水的變化趨勢(shì)基本相反,兩者線性相關(guān)系數(shù)為-0.43;1994—2010年兩者的變化趨勢(shì)基本一致,相關(guān)系數(shù)達(dá)0.71。即當(dāng)西印度洋地區(qū)存在環(huán)流異常下沉(上升)時(shí),西太平洋副熱帶高壓通常異常減弱東退(增強(qiáng)西伸),副熱帶季風(fēng)減弱(增強(qiáng)),有利于雨帶偏南(北)。因此,在西太平洋副熱帶高壓和副熱帶季風(fēng)年代際偏強(qiáng)(弱)階段,西印度洋環(huán)流與江淮夏季降水呈負(fù)(正)相關(guān)。

Abstract:

The characteristics of summer rainfall anomalies in Yangtze-Huaihe valley and the variation of the interannual relationship with the atmospheric circulation anomalies over western Indian Ocean region are investigated by using NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data and monthly precipitation data from the 160 stations reorgnized by China National Center of Climate. Results show that when more (less) low trough activities exist at mid-latitude, and west Pacific Subtropical high and east Asian summer monsoon are stronger (weaker), more (less) precipitation may occur in Yangtze-Huaihe areas. Further analysis discloses that the vertical circulation over western Indian Ocean has close relation with the rainfall in Yangtze-Huaihe valley, which is influenced by the climate background clearly. The vertical motion over western Indian Ocean is opposed to the rainfall in Yangtze-Huaihe valley during 1979—1993 with correlation coefficient of -0.43, but is coincident from 1994 to 2010 with positive correlation coefficient of 0.71. When the anomalous descending (ascending) motions occur over western Indian Ocean, western Pacific Subtropical high tends to be weaker and move eastwards (stronger and further westwards), and the monsoon weakens (strengthens) and the rain belts are likely to shift southwards (northwards). As a result, relationship between the ascending motion over western Indian Ocean and the summer precipitation is negative (positive) in Yangtze-Huaihe during strong (weak) western Pacific Subtropical high and related monsoon.
