采用NCEP的FNL再分析資料驅(qū)動(dòng)WRF模式,對(duì)中國10 a(2000—2009年)夏季降水進(jìn)行雙重動(dòng)力降尺度(雙重嵌套)模擬,將子、母區(qū)域模擬結(jié)果和觀測進(jìn)行對(duì)比,以檢驗(yàn)雙重動(dòng)力降尺度對(duì)中國夏季降水模擬的"增值"能力。結(jié)果表明:單重動(dòng)力降尺度(單重嵌套)方法能較好模擬出中國10 a夏季平均降水的空間分布,對(duì)季風(fēng)雨帶"北跳"特征模擬較好,但模擬降水具有系統(tǒng)性正偏差。在母區(qū)域的強(qiáng)迫下,雙重動(dòng)力降尺度模擬的降水分布與單重動(dòng)力降尺度相比,沒有發(fā)生根本性變化。但由于子區(qū)域的分辨率要高于母區(qū)域,雙重動(dòng)力降尺度比單重動(dòng)力降尺度能提供更多有價(jià)值的降水細(xì)節(jié)。雙重動(dòng)力降尺度的這種"增值"能力存在地域依賴性,在華南地區(qū)和江淮地區(qū),雙重動(dòng)力降尺度模擬出的降水分布、量值和逐日演變都要好于單重動(dòng)力降尺度。但在華北地區(qū),雙重動(dòng)力降尺度沒有表現(xiàn)出明顯的"增值"。

Abstract:

A 10-year(2000-2009) double dynamical downscaling(couble nested) simulation on summer precipitation in China was conducted by Weather Research and Forecasting WRF model driven by FNL reanalysis data from NCEP. The added value of summer precipitation simulation by double dynamical downscaling method is investigated through comparing the mother domain and subdomain outputs with the observation. Results show that single dynamical downscaling simulation can quite well simulate the spatial distribution of 10-year average summer precipitation and the evolution of rain belts of summer monsoon, but it has systematic wet bias in precipitation simulation. Under the force of mother domain, the precipitation distribution by double dynamical downscaling is similar to that by single dynamical downscaling. However, the double dynamical downscaling method can provide more valuable precipitation details because of the higher spatial resolution of the sub-domain. The result of added value by double dynamical downscaling is regionally dependent. The amount, distribution and daily evolution of precipitation by double dynamical downscaling can be simulated better than those simulated by single dynamical downscaling over South China and Yangtse-Huaihe River which are characterized by complex topography, but no obvious added value was found over North China.
