Abstract:Based on the hydrodynamic model of FloodArea and WRF model, the meteorological data, hydrological data, geographic information data, social and economic statistical data, investigation data, etc. were used to analyze the risk assessment of rainstorm flood and its verification results in medium and small river basin, by taking the Qiupu river basin as the study area. Results show that the FloodArea model has a good simulation effect on the inundation range, depth and duration of the flood, and can be used for the risk assessment and early-warning service of rainstorm flood in medium and small river basin. Then, a relatively complete technological process for the risk assessment of rainstorm flood and its results verification was preliminarily set up, which contains model precipitation forecast, area rainfall calculation, flooding simulation, risk assessment, early-warning release and results verification, so the meteorological service extension from the traditional heavy precipitation forecast to the rainstorm flood forecast was realized. The technology method can be popularized and applied.
