摘要:

與以往的區(qū)域氣候模式相比,對流允許區(qū)域氣候模式不再依賴于對流參數化方案,其精細的分辨率可以顯式表示深對流過程,在夏季對流降水的日變化和極端降水事件模擬等方面具有明顯增值能力,是區(qū)域氣候模擬的發(fā)展方向。對現(xiàn)有的對流允許尺度區(qū)域氣候模擬研究進行了較為詳細的回顧和介紹,簡述了對流允許尺度區(qū)域氣候模式中比較重要的物理過程及外部驅動條件的影響,總結了以往對流允許尺度區(qū)域氣候模擬的研究成果以及當下所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)和對未來的展望,以期對中國及東亞區(qū)域對流允許區(qū)域氣候模擬的研究提供有益參考。諸多研究表明,對流允許區(qū)域氣候模擬作為一種有前景的氣候模式,可提供更加可靠的區(qū)域尺度的氣候信息。

Abstract:

Compared with the traditional Regional Climate Models (RCMs), Convection Permitting Regional Climate Models (CP-RCMs) no longer rely on convection parameterization scheme, and fine resolution can explicitly resolve the deep convection process. It has obvious value-added ability in diurnal cycle of convection precipitation and extreme precipitation event simulation in summer, which is the development direction of regional climate simulation. CP-RCMs simulation research is reviewed in detail, and the influence of important physical processes and external driving conditions are briefly described. Following a summary of the existing research, the present challenges and the future perspective are presented, with a view for providing some useful references for the convection permitting regional climate simulations over China and East Asia. As a promising climate model, CP-RCMs can provide more reliable climate information on regional to local scales.
